Ksenia Golubovich
Is a renowned Russian writer, literary critic, cultural theorist, translator and Candidate of Philological Sciences. She has served as chair of the jury of the Alexander Piatigorsky Literary Prize and is the author of the books The Fulfilment of Desires, Postmodernism in Paradise: On the Work of Olga Sedakova and The Russian Daughter of an English Writer.
  • Graduated from the Romance and Germanic Studies division of the Faculty of Philology at Moscow State University.
  • Undertook a research placement at Cambridge and defended a doctoral dissertation on the symbol in the poetry of William Butler Yeats.
  • In the 1990s attended the poetry seminars of Olga Sedakova.
  • Worked at the intellectual publishing house Logos and translated works by W. B. Yeats, Bruce Chatwin, V. S. Naipaul, Roman Jakobson and others.
  • Teaches at the International University in Moscow.

Anna Rulevskaya
Is a renowned Russian screenwriter, playwright and journalist. An art historian by training. In 2004 she won Vogue‘s literary competition and collaborated with the magazine for ten years. In parallel she wrote articles on culture, society and politics for Newsweek and Slon.ru. Her first work in cinema was the screenplay for the film Signs of Love (2006, directed by Vladimir Mirzoev, starring Maxim Sukhanov). She is the author of screenplays for twenty films and television series. In 2021 she was nominated by the Association of Russian Producers of Cinema and Television as best screenwriter for the screenplay of the second season of the series Anna-Detektiv, which won in the category “Best Series of 24+ Episodes.”
As a playwright and librettist she took part in the production of the ballet The Mother (2019, choreographed by Arthur Pita, with Natalia Osipova in the title role). The ballet received several nominations at the National Dance Awards in 2020 and won one of them. In 2022 she continued her collaboration with Arthur Pita on the ballet production Summer, Winter and the Rite of Spring (Ballet Moscow).
From 2017 to 2019 she ran a film club at the Moscow design factory Flacon. As an actress she has appeared in the series Anna-Detektiv 2 and Études on Freedom 2 by Vladimir Mirzoev, and in the film Limonov: The Ballad of Eddie by Kirill Serebrennikov.
